Is it just me?
Lately, walking on the streets of Middle Neck Road has become sad, appalling and disturbing. This one fabled shopping enclave of glorious shops is all but gone.
There was a time when it truly looked as stunning as Madison Avenue in Manhattan.
What has happened to these iconic stores which were once housed here?
Now we just have redundant occupancy, alarming vacancy and extremely questionable stores.
I often think that when the iconic Millies left us in 2001, all good taste, class and refinement left with her.
