At Station Branch there are two sets of 2 steps and 4 colorful signs: “Watch your step”
One cracked skull and at least one employee have been injured because of this set of steps. There is a ramp for the ‘disabled. All could use the ramp and there could be back to back bookcases to close off those steps.
Additional injured patrons would impact the insurance rates. But they will soon have $10 million.
The local librarian is now situated behind the checkout desk.
Across the hall is a generous amount of space for a more proper location at the entrance.
Does the board ever visit the branches? Meetings could be rotated; just as selling the bonds was.
There is no disabled access to the branch and I am planning to call the Feds.
