In last weeks opinion page, Dr. Morris talked about how AARP has lost 300,000 members.
He draws a conclusion that this number represents members disgruntled with the political philosophy of AARP.
Since AARP has a membership of citizens over the age of 50, I think the possibility of the lost membership is more a result these members no longer being able to renew their membership since they might have passed on to another location of unearthly presence with a heavenly address.
Perhaps, these former members also might have moved to Chicago since I was told, you do not have to be alive to be able to vote in Chicago.
