I write in support of the letter from John O’Kelly in the July 29 issue regarding the right to own firearms.
Mr. O’Kelly is quite correct in his comments regarding the efforts of some Americans to deprive us of our Second Amendment freedom.
The Founding Fathers recognized the need for honest citizens to own arms for self defense and national defense.
This civil right has stood well for over 200 years and must be supported vigorously!
I urge all readers to ponder Mr. O’Kelly’s cogent comments and support his conclusions!
