Ashley Lessen, a freshman at The Wheatley School in Old Westbury, has earned All-State status in girls’ tennis. At the 2013 Nassau County Girls Tennis Championships on Oct. 19 at Eisenhower Park, Lessen finished fourth in the singles’ competition. Lessen competed against the top singles players in Nassau County through five rounds to earn her first All-State recognition.
Lessen has been competing on the Wheatley varsity tennis team as first singles since seventh grade. She is a nationally ranked tennis player and has previously received All-Conference recognition for her ability on the court.
