An open letter to Gov. Cuomo:
Dear Governor,
I am writing you to let you know that I strongly oppose appointing [Town or North Hempstead Supervisor Jon] Kaiman to a position at LIPA. I have known you for many many years. I have admired you and voted for you consistently .
I also know Mr. Kaiman prsonally and have dealt with him many many times. Under his “supervisor-ship” the Town of North Hempstead has been mismanaged. Dealing with the building department has become impossible. He ignores wishes of all taxpayers in favor of keeping himself In power.
I hope that you will not even consider nominating Mr. Kaiman for the LIPA position. I am looking forward to voting for you in the future. I trust your judgment and believe you will nominate a person of integrity and competence to head LIPA.
