
Two unidentified men are suspected of breaking into a Roslyn home and stealing the homeowner’s car early Monday morning, according to Nassau County Police.
The 60-year-old man who owns the house on Pine Drive North was awakened around 1:30 a.m. by the sound of his garage door opening. When he investigated the sound, he told police he saw his black 2019 BMW 540 being driven away following a black Audi SUV. The cars drove in the northbound direction away from the home.
Upon investigating, officers saw two unknown black men dressed in all-black clothing parked on the shoulder by Exit 31S on the Long Island Expressway. They were going through items in the stolen BMW.
The suspects fled westbound on the expressway in the Audi when officers approached.
