John Contratti’s fourth grade class at the Garden City Park School were in for a treat when film and TV writer Mike Reiss stopped by to visit.
Reiss has written the family films “Ice Age”, “Horton Hears A Who”, and “Despicable Me.” Buthe is probably best known for writing for “The Simpsons” for the past 25 years. Students interviewed Reiss and learned how he began his career in writing and offered students lots of tips on how to become a writer.
