In an effort to reinforce to students what Veterans Day is about, students in the universal pre-kindergarten program at Hampton Street School created crafts to honor the day. Each student glued together pieces of construction paper to form a soldier and then attached thank-you notes to each one. The craft activity, done by Christine O’Grady’s morning and afternoon sessions, will be sent to local veterans. Pictured are some of the students with their craft soldiers from the morning UPK class.
