Nassau County police are seeking information about a couple whom they say used a fake $100 bill in New Hyde Park.
Around 8:50 p.m. Sept. 21, police said, an employee at the New Hyde Park Diner recognized the picture of a man and woman who had previously used the counterfeit money to pay their bill.
When the couple was confronted, they fled the eatery at 160 Hillside Ave. in a silver minivan with Indiana license plate WQY960, police said.
