Nassau County police have identified the body of a deceased man discovered in Herricks on Monday as that of Kenneth Crane.
Crane, whose body was found in a wooded area near Old Searingtown Road and Searingtown Road, was 60 years old and had no known address, police said.
A police spokeswoman on Tuesday said there appeared no criminality in connection to the discovery.
Crane’s body was taken to the Nassau County medical examiner’s office to determine the cause of death, which has still not been released.
He was found wearing black pants, a tan olive jacket, a blue hooded sweatshirt and blue sneakers, police said.
