A westbound lane on Northern Boulevard between Middle Neck Road in Great Neck and Searingtown Road within the Village of Flower Hill was closed from Monday to Wednesday during daytime hours while state Department of Transportation crews performed pavement repairs, officials said.
One of the two lanes along Northern Boulevard was closed from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., causing traffic delays that forced motorists to seek alternate routes, officials said.
Officials said the repairs were necessary to maintain the safety of motorists along Northern Boulevard.
