The North Hempstead Democratic Committee is hosting a meet-and-greet with several local Democratic officials at the East Hills Village Hall lounge on April 25.
Scheduled to speak are U.S. Rep. Steve Israel (Huntington), North Hempstead Town Supervisor Judi Bosworth (Great Neck) and town council members Anna Kaplan (Great Neck) and Peter Zuckerman (Roslyn), who each represent all or a portion of the Roslyn community.
The event is slated to run from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. A free bagel breakfast will be provided.
The event is free to attend. Contributing to the committee is not required, according to committee literature about the event, though the RSVP deadline is April 22.
