Nagler featured at school tech meet

Superintendent of the Mineola Union Free School District Michael P. Nagler was a featured presenter at the Oct. 16 meeting of the Association of Suffolk County Supervisors for Educational Technologies.

Nagler, along with the district’s technology director Marc Licht, presented on iPad rollout and implementation. Mineola was one of the first districts on Long Island to implement an extensive iPad program, which now spans grades three to eight, and has received numerous awards for its implementation, including the Apple Award for Innovation in Education. 

The meeting was held in the Three Village Central School District and featured presentations from three other school districts.
