The Roslyn Rotary Club honored Elizabeth Siskind as the May Student of the Month at its luncheon.  Elizabeth’s community service included volunteering at Sportime of Roslyn as a tennis instructor for autistic children; volunteering at Growing Tree North observing and monitoring children’s play habits, keeping records on children and sanitizing toys and play equipment; and orchestrating and participating in a Key Club fundraiser for Autism Speaks. She has also participated in the American Cancer Society’s Relay For Life as a student chair for Liminaria, student chair of registration and student co-chair overseeing all student committees, ensuring the event runs smoothly, publicizing and fundraising, and planning meetings.
