Free clinic to discuss elder law

The Long Island Alzheimer’s Foundation is hosting a free clinic on elder law and estate planning advice on Thursday, Oct. 24. The keynote speaker will be Ann-Margaret Carrozza, former state assemblywoman, TV legal contributor, and chair of LIAF’s Elder Law Advisory Board.

Attendees are entitled to a free 15 minute private consultation with Carrozza to discuss their most pressing elder care questions in private at no cost.

Attendees will also hear neuro-psychologist Sarah Schaffer, from the North Shore/LIJ Health System share helpful information on the “Impact of Aging on Cognition” and explain the changes which accompany the normal aging process.   

The clinic and open house is from 4 to 7 p.m. at 5 Channel Drive in Port Washington. The event is open to all and refreshments will be served. Call (516) 767-6856 to reserve a spot.
