Floral Park Memorial High School varsity basketball players senior Kevin Cluess and junior Kaela Hilaire achieved the milestone of scoring 1,000-points, highlighting their incredible high school athletic careers.
Cluess, who received All-County honors last year, has been playing on the varsity team since eighth-grade. He scored his 1,000-point during the team’s Jan. 13 game against Roslyn High School. Meanwhile, Hilaire hit the 1,000-point shot during a game against Friends Academy on Dec. 6.
Hilaire has been playing on the varsity team since seventh-grade. Last year, she was named Second Team All Long Island, Nassau County Player of the Year for small schools, Conference Player of the Year and achieved All-County honors.
