March brings EXPO 35, the 2016 National Competition Winners Exhibition, to Huntington’s b.j spoke gallery.
The exhibition displays several artworks from each of the 17 winning artists selected by Mary Potter, curatorial assistant at the Whitney Museum of American Art.
Potter chose pieces produced in diverse media including video, batik painting on fabric, digital sculpture, hanging sculpture, painting, drawing and photography.
There will be an artists’ reception on Saturday, March 5, from 6 to 9 p.m. The public is invited to attend. The works will be on view from Thursday, March 3 until Sunday, April 3 at b.j.spoke gallery, 299 Main Street, Huntington.
