The Parker Jewish Institute for Health Care and Rehabilitation marked Breast Cancer Awareness Month on Tuesday, Oct. 29, with an all-day event. Educational resources and giveaways were available, and a remembrance board displayed the thoughts and memories of loved ones affected by breast cancer. A charity bingo tournament sponsored by the Parker League brought Parker’s residents, patients and their families together, and brought in approximately $700 to benefit the Breast Cancer Research Foundation.
