It was a memorable day when John Contratti’s fourth grade class culminated their 1960s unit on May 21, at the Garden City Park School. The fourth graders studied numerous aspects of the decade which included historical events, pop culture, music and lots more. Dressed in 60’s style clothing and as famous television characters, students turned their classroom into a 1960s museum, which displayed all of their work for their parents and guests to enjoy.
