A New Hyde Park man was charged Wednesday with sexually abusing a 13-year-old boy, according to Nassau County Police.
Motia Abdallah, 43, also known as “Timone,” worked at the East Meadow Tobacco Shop at 386 East Meadow Ave. and befriended juveniles while at the store, police said.
Abdallah is accused of engaging in sexual contact with a 13-year-old boy from January through May of this year.
Abdallah was charged with two counts of criminal sexual acts in the second degree, sexual abuse in the second degree and endangering the welfare of a child.
Police are asking anyone who believes they were victimized by Abdallah to contact the Nassau County Special Victims Squad at 516-573-4022 or to call 911. All callers are anonymous.
Abdallah will be arraigned at the Nassau County District Court on Thursday, Sept. 7.
