On April 17, Manor Oaks School hosted a grand reopening of its library and a live author event.
The library received new carpeting, painting and furniture. Students, community members and staff were invited to the official reopening after school.
In “Moe’s Clubhouse,” an adjoining classroom, multiple STEM and Makerspace activities were set up for students to explore, such as Magna Tiles, Legos, Merge Cubes, Keva Planks and more.
Local authors were also invited to the grand reopening, setting up stations in the hallways and library to promote their books and reading.
The event was organized by librarian Sheri Susa and classroom teacher Christina Sciarrotto.
