An Amityville man was charged with a string of burglaries in 2022 in New Hyde Park and Floral Park, according to the Nassau County Police Department. 

Aaron McKelvey, 26, is accused of burglarizing Total Wireless at 401 Jericho Turnpike and an unnamed business at 516 Cherry Lane in New Hyde Park and Innercity Plumbing & Heating at 22 Vanburen Ave. in Floral Park. 

McKelvey was charged with five counts of burglary in the third degree and criminal mischief in the fourth degree, police said. He was arraigned at First District Court in Hempstead, Jan. 10.
