There was an attempted robbery at Wells Fargo Blank on Plandome Road Wednesday afternoon, according to the Nassau County Police Department.
A man gave a note demanding money to a teller who did not comply, according to robbery squad detectives. He then fled out of the bank’s back door.
The event occurred at 4:27 p.m. There were four bank employees and two customers at the bank and no reported injuries, according to police.
The police department’s Major Case Bureau is investigating the incident.
Wells Fargo has not yet responded to a request for comment.
