A Hempstead man was arrested last week in a string of North Shore burglaries and larcenies, according to the Nassau County Police Department.

Lameek Dean, 38, was the target of a nine-month investigation launched by the detectives, officials said, for allegedly committing crimes in Great Neck, Floral Park and Manhasset since March. Dean is suspected of burglarizing Bob’s One Hour Photo at 405 Plandome Road in Manhasset March 28, Golden Sun Spa at 11 South Middle Neck Road in Great Neck Sept. 17 and Lai Acupuncture at 266 Jericho Turnpike in Floral Park Nov. 7, police said.

Dean was charged with two counts of third-degree burglary, three counts of fourth-degree grand larceny and petit larceny, officials said.

He was scheduled to be arraigned at the First District Court in Hempstead Dec. 20, but efforts to reach officials for further comment were unavailing.
