NOTICE TO BIDDERS
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT the Board of Commissioners of the Great Neck Park District will receive sealed bids for
RENTAL AND INSTALLATION OF TEMPORARY OUTDOOR ICE RINK
at THE VILLAGE GREEN
Bids must be delivered to the Board of Commissioners, Great Neck Park District, 5 Beach Road, Great Neck, NY 11023 by 12:00 Noon on Friday, November 1, 2019 at which time they will be publicly opened and read. Office hours are Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
The Bid Documents, including Specifications for an Outdoor Ice Rink rental, equipment and work, Form of Contract and Form of Proposal, may be examined and obtained by calling the Great Neck Park District at (516) 487-7665 at the aforementioned days and hours.
The successful bidder will be required to comply with all provisions of the NYS Labor Law, including, without limitation, payment of prevailing wages. Each bid is made in good faith, and by a statement of non-collusion as required by section 103-d of the General Municipal Law.
The successful bidder must enter into a contract for the performance of the work that may be awarded to it at the bid price accepted. The successful bidder shall be required to furnish adequate security for the full and faithful performance of such contract as specified, and liability and property insurance.
The Board of Commissioners reserves the right to reject any and all bids or any portion of any bid. Any contract award shall be made in the best interests of the Park District.
