LEGAL NOTICE PUBLIC HEARING PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that a public hearing will be held by the Zoning Board of Appeals of the Village of Roslyn Estates on Wednesday, October 18, 2023, at 7:30 p.m. at Village Hall, 25 The Tulips, Roslyn Estates, New York 11576, to hear: Case #645, the Application of Michael Razewski and Danielle Contillo, owners of premises at 60 The Intervale, Roslyn Estates, NY 11576, in R-30 zoning district, also known as Section 7, Block 50, Lot 25, on Nassau County Land and Tax Map, for variance from Village Code Sections 200-22(F) and 200-27(B), to permit alterations to existing single family home that will convert existing open covered porch in rear yard into interior habitable space that will provide (i) a southerly side yard set-back of only 12.9 feet, where minimum required set-back is 20 feet (where existing condition is pre-existing, non-conforming side yard of 12.9 feet), (ii) an aggregate side yard set-back of only 34.5 feet, where minimum required set-back is 45 feet (where existing condition is pre-existing, non-conforming aggregate side yard of 34.5 feet), and (iii) floor area of 5,560 square feet on 21,212 square foot lot, 795.17 square feet in excess of maximum permitted floor area of 4,765 square feet.
