Public Hearing: The Board of Trustees of the Village of Kings Point

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE The Board of Trustees of the Village of Kings Point will hold a public hearing at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 23, 2024, with respect to Bill 4 of 2024, which reads as follows: A local law amending Chapter 131, Soil Removal, of the Code of the Village of Kings Point. Section 1. Subsection A of § 131-1, Permit required; fee, , of chapter 131, Soil Removal, of the Code of the Village of Kings Point (the “Code”) is amended to read as follows: “A. No person shall strip, excavate, mine, or otherwise remove any soil, sand, gravel, or similar material from any land in the Village, except: 1. excess soil, sand, gravel, or similar material resulting from excavation or grading in connection with the construction of a building for which a building permit has been issued; 2. removing contaminated soil, sand, gravel, or similar material; 3. excess soil, sand, gravel, or similar material resulting from the excavation or grading for a roadbed which has been laid out on an approved subdivision or development plat or map; or 4. as otherwise approved by the Board of Trustees.” Section 2.
