LEGAL NOTICE PUBLIC HEARING INCORPORATED VILLAGE OF NEW HYDE PARK PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Board of Trustees of the Incorporated Village of New Hyde Park will hold a Public Hearing on Thursday, May 25, 2023, at 7:00 p.m., at the Village Hall, 1420 Jericho Turnpike, New Hyde Park, New York 11040, or at some other location to be hereafter designated by the Board of Trustees, in order to receive public comment upon the following:Emilio Susa Construct a 2-story rear addition to accommodate 2 apartments on each story, on an existing 2 story 4 apartment non-conforming building 500 1st Avenue New Hyde Park, NY 11040 Section/Block/Lot: 32/92/199 Section 195-14. d & e. Enlargement or extension. No structure in which legal nonconforming use is located may be enlarged or extended unless the use therein is changed to a conforming use or unless a special permit for such enlargement or extension shall have been grant by the Board of Trustees. Structural alteration. Subject to the approval and consent of the Board of Trustees, any legal nonconforming use may be structurally altered, provided that the cost of such structural alteration shall in no case exceed 50% of the then-existing structural value.
