VILLAGE OF FLORAL PARK, NY NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Board of Appeals of the Incorporated Village of Floral Park, will hold a public hearing in the Village Hall, No. 1 Floral Boulevard, Floral Park, New York on Thursday, April 11, 2024 at 8:00 p.m. relative to the following application: Application of Mario R. Vergara, representing 76 South Tyson Food Group, owners of 76 South Tyson Avenue, Floral Park, NY 11001 for a variance § 99-6 Scheduleof Regulations – One spacefor every threeseats in a dining area and one space for every two seats in a lounge area, whichever formula will result in the greatest number of parking spaces; rear yard setback 10’ minimum. Applicant proposes a restaurant with 98 seats in the dining area and 22 seats in the lounge area which results in 38 additional parkingspaces required per zoning code, no parkingspaces have been proposed. Applicant proposes a one-story addition resulting in a 0’ setback from the rear property line. This application is made subject to the provisions of Article IX, Section 99-61, of the Zoning Ordinance of the Incorporated Village of Floral Park. The property which said variance is applied for is located 90 feet north of the intersection of South Tyson Avenue and Tyson Avenue on the west side of South Tyson Avenue and known as 76 South Tyson Avenue, Section 32, Block 55, Lot(s) 23 on the Nassau County Land and Tax Map.
