VILLAGE OF PORT WASHINGTON NORTH LEGAL NOTICE

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, pursuant to law, that a public hearing will be held by the Board of Zoning Appeals of the Village of Port Washington North. Located at 3 Pleasant Avenue, Port Washington, New York 11050, on December 5, 2023, at 7:00 p.m., for the purpose of considering the following application:†The application of Jason Baer as applicant and owner of the premises located at 33 Marlin Lane, Port Washington, New York 11050. The Nassau County Tax Map number is Section 4, Block 135, Lot 31. The premises are in Residence B zone. Applicant and owner seek a variance to construct a rear yard deck on the premises. Pursuant to Section 176-21 of the Port Washington North Village Code, the minimum rear yard depth required to construct a depth is 25 feet. The proposed rear yard depth would have a rear yard depth of 20.9 feet. The applicant/owner is seeking a variance on the proposed deck as it relates to the rear yard depth of 4.3 feet. †At said public hearing all individuals interested in the subject matter of said hearing will be given an opportunity to be heard with reference thereto, at the time and place above designated. Anyone needing special recommendation pursuant to the American with Disabilities Act should contact the Village Clerk at least four (4) business days before the meeting. Copies of the proposed plans are on file with the Village Clerk at Village Hall and may be seen during normal business hours of the Village between the hours of 9:00 am to 3:00 pm Monday through Friday.
