PLEASE TAKE NOTICE The Board of Trustees of the Village of Kings Point will hold a public hearing at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 6, 2024, with respect to Bill 1 of 2024, which reads as follows: A local law amending section 117-2 Exterior maintenance, of Chapter 117, Property Maintenance, of the Code of the Village of Kings Point. Be it enacted by The Board of Trustees of the Village of Kings Point Section 1. Subsection G of § 117-2, Exterior maintenance, of Chapter 117, Property Maintenance, of the Code of the Village of Kings Point, is hereby amended, to read as follows: “G. All and every part of a premises, including, but not limited to, the steps, walks, driveways and parking areas located on the premises, and the area between the front line of the premises and the paved portion of the roadway on which the premises front, shall be maintained in good repair and in a clean, sanitary, and safe condition and free from, among other things, litter, fallen leaves, cut grass and other vegetation clippings, paper, and other garbage and refuse, as the terms “garbage” and “refuse” are defined in § 94-9 of this code, except that the 15 pound limit on the weight of the garbage shall not limit the weight of the garbage with regard to this subsection and the size of branches shall not limit the size of branches with regard to this subsection.” Section 2. Effective date. This local law shall take effect immediately.
