LEGAL NOTICE OF VARIANCE NOTICE IS HEEBY GIVEN, pursuant to law, that a public hearing will be held by the Board of Zoning Appeals of the Village of Port Washington North, located at 3 Pleasant Avenue, Port Washington, New York 11050, on March 28, 2022 at 7:00 p.m., for the purpose of considering the following application: The application of Tiffany and Craig Shackatano, as applicant and as owner of the premises located at 134 Soundview Drive, Port Washington, New York. The Zone is Residential B District. The location of the premises on the Nassau County Tax Map is Section 4 Block 136 Lot 30. Applicant and owner seek a variance because the front porch and roof above which has already been constructed does not comply with Village of Port Washington North Village Code ß176-19. Said section requires a front yard depth of not less than 10 feet. The porch and roof constructed as indicated by the survey shows a front yard depth of 17.4 feet. The applicant and owner seek a variance of 2.6 feet for said porch and roof. At said public hearing all parties in interest will be given an opportunity to be heard. Copies of the proposed plans are on file with the Village Hall and may be seen during normal business hours.
