INCORPORATED VILLAGE OF WILLISTON PARK NOTICE OF TAX SALE OF REAL ESTATE UNPAID VILLAGE TAXES 2022-2023 PLEASE TAKE NOTICE, that pursuant to Section 1452 of the Real Property Tax Law and a resolution adopted by the Board of Trustees of the Village of Williston Park on February 13, 2023, that the Treasurer of said Village of Williston Park will sell at public auction in the manner provided by law on the 16th day of March 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at the Village Hall, 494 Willis Avenue, Williston Park, NY, the following parcels of real estate upon which Village taxes remain unpaid for the year 2022-2023 as will be sufficient to discharge the taxes, as set forth below, together with interest and charges which may be due thereon at the time of such sale:

PLEASE TAKE FURTHER NOTICE, that at the time of the sale the buyer shall pay the sum of 10% of the amount of the unpaid taxes. PLEASE TAKE FURTHER NOTICE, that the above-mentioned properties have not been researched to determine what the public records reflect regarding these properties. PLEASE TAKE FURTHER NOTICE, that any and all tax lien purchasers should, before bidding investigate what the public records disclose about the property in question. PLEASE TAKE FURTHER NOTICE, that payment of the amount of any bid is due and payable by certified check to the Village Treasurer within ten (l0) days after the sale. In the event that the balance is not timely paid then in such event the bidder shall forfeit the ten percent paid at the time of the sale.  Where no bid is made and the bidder does not timely pay the balance of the bid, it shall be deemed that the tax lien for that premises has been purchased by and sold to the Village of Williston Park.
