NOTICE TO BIDDERS

BID FOR 2018-2019 FOOD SERVICE MANAGEMENT COMPANY OPERATIONS

Notice is hereby given that a Bid For 2018-2019 Food Service Management Program Operations will be received and publicly opened and read aloud by the Board of Education, Manhasset Union Free School District, Town of North Hempstead, Nassau County, New York at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 20, 2018 in the Business Office ​​ Administration Building.

Detailed specifications can be obtained by calling Peter Morley, Purchasing Agent for the Manhasset Union Free School District, at 516-267-7702.

Sealed bids are to be addressed to the attention of Mr. Peter Morley, Purchasing Agent, Manhasset Union Free School District, Business Office, Administration Building, 200 Memorial Place, Manhasset, New York 11030.

A Bidder’s Conference is scheduled for 10:00 a.m. on Friday, June 8, 2018 at the address listed above. Potential bidders are strongly encouraged to attend.

All bids must be submitted on or before the date and time of the opening, in sealed envelopes, bearing on the outside the name and address of the bidder and the title of the bid in the lower left hand corner.

The Manhasset Union Free School District is not responsible for bids opened prior to the bid opening if bid number and opening date do not appear on the envelope. Bids opened prior to the date and time indicated are invalid. The bidder assumes the risk of any delay in the mail, or in the handling of the mail by employees of the Manhasset Union Free School District, as well as improper hand delivery.
The Board of Education, Manhasset Union Free School District, reserves the right to waive any informality in, or to reject any or all bids, or to accept any bid which, in its judgment, are in the best interests of the school district.
