GREAT NECK UNION FREE SCHOOL DISTRICT 345 LAKEVILLE ROAD GREAT NECK, NEW YORK 11020 NOTICE TO BIDDERS The Board of Education of the Great Neck Union Free School District (the ìDistrictî)in accordance with Section 103 of Article 5-A of the General Municipal Law, hereby invites the submission of sealed bids from reputable and qualified bidders for the provision oflabor, materials and services for the following contract: BID #2023-24-20: MULTI-GAME COURT REPAIRS AND LINE PAINTING Bid Opening: Thursday, January 4, 2024 at 12:00 p.m. Bids for the contract will be received until the above stated hour of prevailing time and date at the Phipps Administration Building, 345 Lakeville Road, Great Neck, New York 11020, at which time and place all bids will be publicly opened and read aloud. Specifications and bid forms may be obtained at the same office beginning on December 15, 2023, Monday through Friday, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., excluding school holidays. Bids must be presented on the supplied bid form in the manner designated therein and as required by the specifications. All bids must be enclosed in sealed envelopes, which are clearly marked on the outside: ìBid # 2023-24-20: Multi-Game Court Repairs and Line Paintingî. All bidders must complete the bid forms.No bids will be considered which have not been received by the deadline set forth on the Notice to Bidders.The District is not responsible for delays occasioned by any delivery service, the internal mail delivery system of the District or any other means of delivery employed by the bidder. No phone, fax or email bids will be accepted. Bids shall remain firm for a period of forty-five (45) days following the date of the bid opening. The Board of Education reserves the right to waive any informalities in or to reject any or all bids, or to accept that bid which, in the Board of EducationÃs judgment, is in the best interest of the District. The Board of Education reserves the right to consider experience, service and reputation in connection with the services to be rendered. In addition, the Board of Education reserves the right to consider the financial responsibility and specific qualifications as set forth in the Bid Specifications, of the prospective bidder in its evaluation of the bids and award of the contracts. The successful bidder shall be required to comply with the provisions of the New York State Prevailing Wage Laws.
