LEGAL NOTICE
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE, that the Board of Trustees will hold a Public Hearing on Monday, April 16, 2018, at 8:00p.m., or as soon thereafter as possible, at the Village Hall, 494 Willis Avenue, Williston Park, NY for the purpose of considering the adoption of the following Local Law:
Local Law No. 1 of 2018 entitled ‘A Local Law to Override the Tax Levy Limit Established in General Municipal Law 3-c.’ This local law will establish a law that will allow the Village to adopt a budget for its fiscal year commencing June 1, 2018, that requires a real property tax levy in excess of the tax levy limit as defined in General Municipal Law 3-c.
The above local law would be effective immediately upon filing with the Secretary of State.
A copy of said local law is available for review at the Village Hall during business hours.
