LEGAL NOTICE PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT the Board of Trustees of the Village of South Floral Park will hold a PUBLIC HEARING on Thursday, June 6, 2024 at 8 00 PM. in Conference Room 2, Elmont Public Library, 700 Hempstead Turnpike, Elmont, New York 11003, to consider the adoption of Bill No. 3 of 2024, a proposed local law amending §178-7, “Permit required,” of Article III, “Excavations,” of Chapter 178, “Streets and Sidewalks,” of the Code of the Village of South Floral Park, to establish, subject to certain exceptions, a moratorium on street opening permits of 36 months with respect to streets that are resurfaced, and 60 months with respect to streets that are newly constructed or reconstructed.
