A Saddle Rock resident was robbed of two Gucci wristwatches and an iPhone on Saturday, Nassau County Police officials said in a release.

The victim, a 41-year-old man whose name was not disclosed in the release, parked in his driveway just after midnight on Saturday when he was approached by a pair of unknown men in black ski masks, officials said.

One man showed a silver knife and forced the Saddle Rock resident to hand over his personal items. The phone, officials said, belonged to the resident’s 35-year-old female passenger, whose name was also not disclosed.

A 12-year-old girl and a 7-year-old boy were also reportedly in the rear of the car during the incident, officials said.

Both the masked men took the resident’s property, valued at more than $4,500, and fled on foot south on Whitman Road toward Longfellow Road when the police were called, officials said.

One of the men was described as Hispanic with a slim build, gray jacket and dark pants while the other one was described as black with a thin build, dark boots, black sweatshirt and black jacket.

Upon further investigation, officials said, the two men entered a white BMW that had a black convertible top and traveled west towards Grist Mill Lane.

No injuries were reported and efforts to reach police for further comment on the investigation were unavailing.
