Police investigating missing teen from Great Neck

Nassau County Police are investigating the whereabouts of a teenager who was reported missing on Tuesday.

According to detectives, Yanyin Lin, 14, was last seen leaving her residence and possibly headed to an unknown location in Brooklyn on Tuesday, June 27, around 3:00 a.m.

Police said the teenager was said to have run away in the past, but did not speculate on possible motives regarding her disappearance on Tuesday.

Lin is an Asian female, approximately 5′ 3″, 110 pounds and has black hair.

Detectives request that anyone with information on where Lin is call the Missing Persons Squad at (516) 573-7347 or 911.
