The Achilles Kids International Marathon is a run/walk/roll program designed for students with disabilities to complete a 26.2 marathon at their own pace, using a virtual map with incentives along the way.

North Middle School has participated in this event for several years. Karen Lewis, vice president of school programs for Achilles Kids, attended North Middle’s culminating marathon celebration on May 30 and presented Stanley with a copy of his award-winning poster.
