The Great Neck Public Library Parkville location will be closing July 1 for renovations, according to a library tweet.

The branch, located at 10 Campbell St. in New Hyde Park, will be closed for approximately six months to conduct renovations. It is unknown what renovations are planned at the building.

The library tweeted that the anticipated last day of service for the Parkville location will be June 30.

The library is open on Mondays and Wednesdays from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., Fridays and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sundays from 1-p.m. to 5 p.m.

The Parkville branch library will still be holding events during the month of June, which can be found on the library’s website.

Efforts to speak with library administration for further details were unavailing.
