Four arrested in attempted G.N. burglary following Roslyn Hts. caper.

Four men were arrested in an attempted burglary in Great Neck Thursday, according to the Nassau County Police Department.

The four men, who traveled in a black Saturn with Virginia license plates, attempted to enter an Oxford Boulevard residence through a rear window but were unable to get in, police said. The four tried to then flee from the residence but were arrested and taken into custody.

Police identified the men as Juan Carlos Galan-Gomez, Fredy Asdrual Saldana-Torres, Exquid Santiago Ortiz-Gonzales and Aaron Michel Vargas-Rivera. The four were also the suspected players in a Roslyn Heights burglary that occurred on Jan. 21, according to police.

The men were arrested and charged with second-degree burglary and second-degree attempted burglary, police said. They were scheduled to be arraigned Friday at the First District Court in Hempstead, but efforts to reach police for further comment on the matter were unavailing.
