The fourth annual Manhasset Al Fresco, a series of nights out on the town’s Plandome Road, is returning once again this summer to continue into the fall.

Al Fresco is made up of four events that encompass outdoor dining, shopping and live entertainment on Manhasset’s Plandome Road – which will be closed off to traffic during the event. It is scheduled to begin on June 23.

The four events will be held on both North and South Plandome Road, with the location alternating throughout the Al Fresco series.

The debut night will be held on South Plandome Road from 3:30-7:30 p.m. The other event on South Plandome Road will be held on Aug. 10 from 6-10 p.m., including a special movie night.

The North Plandome events will be held on July 28 from 4:30-8:30 p.m. and Sept. 15 from 3:30-7:30 p.m.

Manhasset Al Fresco is hosted by the Manhasset Chamber of Commerce, which states its mission is to “enhance the economic vitality and quality of life of our community and to promote the general welfare and prosperity of its member businesses.”

The Al Fresco series is sponsored in part by the Town of North Hempstead’s Lift Up Local initiative, which was started after the COVID-19 pandemic as a method to bolster local businesses.

With planning already beginning for the outdoor event series, the Manhasset Chamber of Commerce is soliciting sponsorships. The deadline to apply for sponsorships is April 18.

Individuals and businesses can also submit their participation and entertainment registration forms to the chamber to participate in the Al Fresco series.
