The Summer Promenade Series has returned to Great Neck Plaza and will continue on July 25, bringing a night of music and family fun to the downtown once again.

“The Great Neck Plaza Summer Promenade Series is a cherished tradition that brings our community together,” Ron Edelson executive director of the Great Neck Plaza Business Improvement District, said. “We are thrilled to showcase the incredible talent of our local performers and provide an evening of entertainment for families and friends.”

The promenade will include al fresco dining and entertainment along Great Neck Plaza’s Bond Street. It will begin at 6:30 p.m.

The musical entertainment featured on its debut night includes the returning artist Gathering Time.

Also featured are three local high school musical students – Alyssa Wong from Great Neck South High School, Michelle Harris from Great Neck South High School and Grace Curry from Oyster Bay High School. The three students will perform musical pieces for attendees.

All three students competed in the village’s Music Fest Challenge on June 18, with all three awarded scores within fractions of a point of each other.

The Summer Promenade Series began on June 27 and has continued throughout the summer. It will hold its final event on Aug. 1, with the location to be announced.

The Summer Promenade series is hosted by the Great Neck Plaza Business Improvement District in collaboration with the Village of Great Neck Plaza.
