Police arrested a Brooklyn man on Thursday in connection with a shooting at a Mansion at Glen Cove party on July 10.
Remy Marshall, 26, of Brooklyn, turned himself in at the Glen Cove Police station this morning at 10:30 a.m., according to the police. He faces charges of attempted murder, criminal possession of a weapon and reckless endangerment.
Marshall performs as Fetty Luciano, a hip-hop musician on the Def Jam Recordings label.
Marshall allegedly shot two partygoers and a security officer at the “Big Fendi Celebrity Pool Party.” Between 150 and 200 attendees were in attendance. The victims did not sustain life-threatening injuries.
Helen Whitehead, the mansion’s director, said on July 12 that the gunman attempted to attend the party. They turned him away at the door. It is unknown how he got in.
Following the incident, Glen Cove Mayor Pamela Panzenbeck criticized the party organizers. She said those involved were from out of town.
While comparable private gatherings had previously resulted in noise complaints, she said that the most recent occurrence was a deal-breaker for her. She promised to limit future permits at the location.
The state recently revoked the mansion’s alcohol license. The venue’s attorneys are reviewing the filing.
Marshall will be arraigned today.
