The ins and outs of children’s book publishing talk at the Port Washington Public Library

The public is invited to the Port Washington Public Library on Sunday, Dec. 3 at 2 p.m. in the Lapham Meeting Room for an engaging panel discussion on the world of children’s book publishing!

The program, “Painting Pictures and Telling Tales: Writing and Illustrating Children’s Books,” will feature prominent publishing insiders sharing valuable insights, including the ins and outs of the industry and what it takes to get your children’s book published.

Our distinguished guest speakers include Jane Breskin Zalben, the current Adler Gallery artist and an award-winning children’s author and illustrator; Leonard Marcus, an author, curator, and leading critic of children’s books; and Eileen Robinson, editorial director of Charlesbridge (Penguin/Random).

The event will be moderated by Marvin Terban, a best-selling and award-winning children’s book author and professor. This program is made possible by the generous sponsorship of the Friends of the Library. To secure your spot, register at pwpl.org/events.
