It’s fall and life is in full swing.
From school to meetings to social obligations to extremely busy evenings.
There seems like no time to put dinner on the table.
The best thing about the following menu is that the crock pot does all the work.
All you have to do is throw or “gently put” all of the ingredients into the crock pot in the morning.
Come home and put dinner on the table in less than 15 minutes.
Round out your meal with pasta, a salad and a store bought dessert and you have dinner that a family of four may easily enjoy midweek.
The recipes also double for larger families, as dinner together is always special and important.

“Kitchen Sink”
Crock Pot Dinner
I call this “Kitchen Sink” because you “gently place” a lot of ingredients in your slow cooker and it comes out delicious.
1 onion, finely chopped
1 red pepper, cleaned and
chopped into large pieces
3 chicken sausages
(I use Aidell’s), sliced on
the diagonal
1 lb. freshly ground meat
18 oz. crushed tomatoes
4 oz. Parmesan shavings
1. In a slow cooker, place ingredients in this order: onion, pepper, sausage, ground meat. Pour crushed tomatoes over all of the ingredients. Cook on medium high for 6 to 8 hours.
2. Serve with pasta, steamed spinach and Parmesan on the side.
Pasta
8 oz. Farfalle
Olive Oil
Salt
1. In a pot that also has a steamer, boil 2 quarts water.
2. Add olive oil, salt. Then add Farfalle and stir. Cook for 8 minutes then Proceed with spinach recipe. Farfalle and spinach will be done at the same time.
Steamed Spinach
1 16 oz. package Organic
Baby Spinach
1. Place spinach in a steamer. Place on top of boiling pasta water, cover and steam until done.
Just Before Serving: Drain pasta, top with spinach. Serve with “Kitchen Sink” and pass Parmesan alongside.
