TBS Yom HaShoah program set for April 8 at 7:15 p.m.

Temple Beth Sholom’s Yom HaShoah Program will be a virtual one this year because of the pandemic. It will commemorate the loss of 17 million lives, including those of 6 million Jews.

Survivor Erwin Forley, who witnessed the liberation of Auschwitz in January 1945, will be the featured speaker. Survivors will light candles and students who’ve met regularly with survivors and learned their stories through the Witness Project, will share their thoughts. Cantor Ofer Barnoy will perform musical selections.
