Roslyn rocks Gerry Park

On Wednesday, July 27, Roslyn will once again come alive with the sound of music for the first time in three years.

Mark that date on your calendar, it’s a fun night of great music that will thrill the entire family. Brought to you by the Greater Roslyn Chamber of Commerce and the Town of North Hempstead, Gerry Park (The Roslyn Duck Pond) will be the site of the first local appearance of the Classic Clapton Band.

Eric Clapton is one of the greatest guitarists that ever lived, and Classic Clapton will perform the best of his music, including his hits, and music from Cream,

Blind Faith and everything in between including “Layla,”, “White Room,”, “Sunshine of your Love,” “Beautiful Tonight” and much more. Sound by well-known Dare Studios guarantees a clean, crisp sound.

Gerry Park is perfect for this outdoor event, located right next to Bryant Library and in the centr of Roslyn Village with everything within a short walking distance.

Chamber Vice-President of Events, Lou Federico promised, “ This will not only  be a great night of music but an opportunity to hang out with your friends and neighbors, many who you may not have seen from before the Pandemic.”

Admission to the event is FREE so bring the whole family. For parking, try the new parking lot at Old Northern Boulevard and East Broadway, or the big new lot by Skillman Street Park. Bring your own chairs, sit back and enjoy.

The show runs from 6-8 pm, Raindate is Thursday July 28t at 6 pm.
